内容简介：

【中文简介】“城市社会地理学”是人文地理与城乡规划专业的专业任选课程。该课程介绍城市社会地理学的起源、发展与流派，系统讲授城市社会地理学研究方法论和方法，从城市生活时间、城市生活空间、城市居住空间等方面，对城市社会地理学的基本理论、方法、变化趋势等进行科学解说，并从中国城市转型与中国城市单位角度，对中国城市社会地理学研究与中国城市社会问题进行分析，为制订和谐社会政策、编制城市社会规划服务。

通过本课程的学习，使学生系统掌握城市社会地理学的基本理论与方法，全面了解城市社会地理学相关研究的最新成果，结合中国城市空间的具体分析，培养独立分析城市社会地理问题以及制订城市社会政策、编写城市社会规划的能力。

【英文简介】"Urban Social Geography" is the professional elective course of Human Geography and Urban-rural Planning discipline. The course gives an introduction of the origins, development and methodology evolution of urban social geography, and symmetrically lecture on the theory, methodology and methods of urban social geography. In addition, detailed interpretations were given through the topical subjects of urban time use, urban activity space, urban residential space et al. Furthermore, this course also introduce empirical studies of urban social geography in Chinese cities from the perspectives of urban transition and DANWEI, which aims at application for social policy making and urban social planning.

 Through this course, students systematically master the basic theory and method of urban social geography, and comprehensively understand the latest research on these related fields. Furthermore, students should also acquire the ability of applying relevant theories and methods to analyze and solve urban social and spatial problems in Chinese cities.
